Orange Yogurt Cake
Orange Yogurt Cake
Ingredients
  • 250g margarine
  • 1½ cup of sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 cups of Kri Kri strained yogurt 10% fat
  • orange zest (from 2 oranges)
  • orange juice (from 2-3 oranges, depending their size)
  • 2 packs of pure vanilla extract
  • 500g self-raising flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda

Method
  1. Cream margarine and sugar until light and fluffy.
  2. Beat in eggs, one at a time.
  3. Dissolve baking soda in the orange juice and add to blender.
  4. Add the yogurts, the grated orange grid, the pure vanilla extract and spoon by spoon the flour.
  5. Mix well for 3-4 minutes and pour it into a buttered round cake pan.
  6. Bake at 180oC for approximately 50 min in preheated oven.
  7. Decorate with caster sugar.
