Tzatziki (yogurt dip)

Ingredients
  • 1/2 kilo white Spitiko yogurt 8% fat
  • 3-4 garlic cloves
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1 tbsp vinegar
  • 1 big cucumber
  • 3/4 cup extra virgin olive oil

Method
  1. Grate the garlic and mix it with the salt.
  2. Without peeling the cucumber, cut it into slices.
  3. With a teaspoon slightly scratch the inner part (in order to clean it from the seeds).
  4. Then squeeze it until all its water is removed.
  5. Put the yogurt into a bowl and add the cucumber into it.
  6. Add the rest of the ingredients.
  7. Whiz the content until the ingredients are well mixed.
  8. It can be served in a normal temperature but it is rather preferred cold.
